A young girl stood in the waist-deep stream, reveling in the sensation of the cool water that flowed across her skin. Her denim shorts and boots were soaked through, and droplets of water clung to her baby blue tank top. Short, shaggy black hair veiled her eyes, but not the grin that curved across pale lips. A snort came from the shore, and she looked up, revealing at last her gorgeous bright blue eyes.
A massive, jet black Percheron stallion stood at the bank, forelock draped over one eye. He tossed his head, as if beckoning her to stop being ridiculous and come out of the water. Instead, the girl splashed him, making him snort and prance in place for a moment. She beckoned him now, clicking her tongue and offering him her palm. The Percheron still made no moves. Finally, the girl sighed and let her hand fall back in the water.
C'mon, Sinbad, time to stop being such a big baby.
She waded her way back to the shore and looped her hand around the dark blue halter, worn ragged from use. Smooching to the stallion, she gave a light tug at the halter, slowly edging him into the water. Once he was in just past his hooves, Sinbad dipped his nose in the water, testing it daintily. He took two more steps, further checking the temperature. Finally satisfied, the stallion trotted in, splashing his mistress in the process.

The horse nickered, dipped his nose in the water again, and pulled his head back up quickly, spattering her tank top with more water.
Oh yeah, you're hilarious She said as the stallion bobbed his head. God Jo, what are you gonna do with this? Jo shook her head, clucking her tongue. The horse's ears flickered away from her, intent on something. What is it, boy?
