Haha ok, so I got this horse on halloween(of this year-2009-) and he's a thoroughbred off the track and I have just finally finished training him to canter on both leads-though flying changes are a little... ehem... messy haha- and so he knows only walk, trot, canter both leads, serpentines, and leg yeilds both ways-all I can think of at least- and My goal is to get him in the march show where around where I live-it's a simple schooling show- and I was reading one of my dressage T-Shirts and decided to make my own. So here it is!
Donte(my horse) && Foxx's Amazing Dressage Test!
A enter working... gallop. X halt or I or G. G-M turn right sharply. M-P slow to frenzied canter. P-K stagger left.
A-Z remove self from bleachers, ask parents for leg up. F jump back in arena. P-E take off running, smile like you love it and pretend not to pee your pants
H-D canter/buck/gallop K-R Halt and rein back into bleachers, deploy self from bleachers and back in arena. I-G halt. Smile. Burst into tears and hysterical laughing. Leave arena on long rein, laughing horse, and loose language.
This is what will most likely be 2010's New Dressage test! -aka, WHAT NOT TO DO-^^

He just had his teeth floated-which he was good for- but when the chiropractor came to work on I guess he was worse than we thought. She said he was in really good shape but he was a little sore, she said that his hips rotate-which I guess is bad on theirs joints- and so he's not allowed to do circles and is now on free alfalfa-he loves me for the alfalfa ^^- But I feel bad when I ride him now because I know he's sore.

I know i feel so bad since we had so much snow i can't go work on my one clients pony he's a 20 something rescue that has intense back pain. so i feel so bad not being able to work on him recently. Hopefully once the weather breaks we'll be back to our once a week routine. I always feel bad for sore horses.
